How we screen a shop
"5-axis" on a website can mean a machine that only indexes. Before a shop sees simultaneous work, we check five things.
Machine and control
Model, control and whether each machine runs simultaneous or 3+2.
Continuous toolpath work
Examples of blades, blends or ports the shop has actually cut.
Envelope and materials
Largest part size and the alloys the shop cuts every week.
Small orders
Whether the shop takes one-piece orders at a sensible setup cost.
Confidentiality
Willingness to sign an NDA before seeing files.
What we share and when
Shops see a preview first: part type, material, size, quantity, tolerance, region and deadline. No name, company or files. Full details go only to the shops that take the request. Details are in our privacy policy.
What we will not do
- Mass blastingSend your drawing to more than 3 shops.
- Mislabel workSend simultaneous parts to a shop that only runs 3+2.
- Stand in the middleMark up your parts or sit between you and the shop on the order.
